Birthday Girl

Today is a very special day. Seventeen years ago my baby sister came into the world. Can't believe it! She has grown up so much! I remember when we were younger, we would try to play together but we would always wind up fighting and not agreeing on things. I would always make her be the guy when we would watch movies (she never complained...okay maybe a little) and now when a song (mostly Disney) comes on, she sings the guy part and I sing the girl part. That's just the way it is and we like it that way because we get excited and sing all out and crazy.

One really fun thing is that when people ask how we know each other, we tell them that we are sisters and they do one of two things (rarely is it both): 1.Give us the look of 'I don't believe you' or 2. 'Oh, I can see it!'. We tend to just go along with those people because we know that it takes them a while to really see how we look alike.

We think different and alike. We don't look the same. We don't act the same. We are two completely different people and yet we find common ground so we can get along and understand our moods. For one, when Lex is super hungry, she gets super grumpy and angry. The best cure? Feed her ASAP and whatever she wants!

She is my sister and we will stand up to others to protect each other. She does her best not to let others bring her down and if they try, they find that they made a big mistake. She will prove to anyone that she is the best and that she can do it by herself. (Although she will admit she needs help when she has tried every other possibility.)
